POLO, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 22-year-old Polo man was seriously injured in an ATV accident.
The Patrol says Martin Gunnar was driving a 2001 Kawasaki A-T-V southbound on Route T, two miles northwest of Polo, at 11-30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Patrol says Gunnar crossed the center line and drove off the road, struck a ditch and overturned several times.
Gunnar was thrown from the ATV. He was life-flighted to Truman Medical Center. He was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
